The two men my heart concerns: My best friend and my close friend a thousand miles away.

Those are two dead ends. Anyone else ever get cornered like this?

Your post lacks information. Are you in love with both of them? Just missing your dear friends? I've dated a best friend...it didn't end well. After I got over the romantic relationship, I really, really missed having her as one of my best friends. But on the flip side of that, I look as my partner as my best friend, and if you are already very good friends, if you can simply add the romantic aspect, everything else is in place.

It's so easy to fantasize about relationshps with someone 1000 miles away. They rearely have opportunity to hurt you, and all your interactions are typically positive.

There's a quote I'll have to google to get who said it that basically goes: "When your heart is torn between two men, niether is right for you."

You have to do what's best for you, and I can tell you that "waiting" for someone is not good on the ol ticker.

You are supposed to be with your best friend, or at least I say I'll not necessariy marry my best friend they will win.

Just know when things aren't working....you always have options, always....and being with yourself is one of them.

    This is fantastic!

Both of them are unchanging men in my life, and it's just the greatest in the world when you have friends like that.

To answer the first response, I love them both dearly enough to be with them forever, but that's what friends are, forever.
