hey does anyone else use a smith machine for their workout? I'm curious....and if they do, do you get the same results? It's not a machine, but it's a more controlled lift if you're just starting.
here's what I did.
Today's weights (using smith machine):
Squat: 50 lbs (not counting bar)
Bench Press: 20 lbs (not counting bar)
Rows: 20 lbs (not counting bar)
Additional:
Sidebends: 15 lbs 3 sets of 12

I use it only when the boys are hogging the rack. I prefer to squat with the rack, not the smith machine, because you're using more muscles doing it straight. The Smith keeps you on a set track and isn't necessarily as natural.0
