Sick day before race- what to eat?

I am running in a race tomorrow, only 10k but I have trained quite hard to run a PR sowill be disappointed if it diesn't go to plan.

It is morning for me now and my baby is vomiting and I feel quite nauseous and don't have any appetite. Luckily I had pasta last night, but i am not sure what to do food wise today. I am hoping it will be a 24 hour thing and I will be fine tomorrow.

I think I will eat easy things like fruit, eggs and salad in the day and some white toast for dinner on the theory I will try to keep my cals up but eat easy to digest things and no dairy. Any views?

I'd stick with BRAT... banana, rice, applesauce, toast, if there's any risk of upset stomach.

Agreed. Foods that are easy to digest and won't further upset your stomach are usually the best. Hope you feel tons better soon!!

For a 10k, you can get away with just a decent carb filled meal the night before, so something simple like Toast and Jam will probably suffice
