Can you tuck in straight leg jeans or do they have to be skinny jeans. I bought my first pair ever of tall boots today they are knee high and I don't have skinny jeans

It depends on how big the calf area is. I have a pair of tall boots that have room for straight jeans but I can't do the same with other pairs. It is not very comfortable.

IMO , tall boots look better with skinny jeans but if you tuck other jeans the right way, they can look just as good. I don't think I'm helping you here but I just wanted to give you my thoughts.

I used to tuck in my straight leg jeans into my tall boots, but I have small calves, and it helped them stay up for me better than skinny jeans.

As long as you don't end up with a weird crease at the top of the boot, it'll look nice!

As long as it looks good, and they fit it doesn't matter the kind of jeans you tuck into the boots.
