Will have to play a few Atari games today... WooHoo.... Awesome day :drinker: . I used to play the Atari for hours and days on end. Sometimes I still do that every once in a great while. One of my favorite games is Kaboom and Key Stone Kapers among others.

    I loved playing the Atari even after we got the NES in the house. Pitfall remains one of my favorite games ever.

    I remember the Atrari 2600 being only $50 in the mid 80s. My friend had it. We spent ours play Combat and Tron. Life was easier back then.

    I had an Atari game that was labeled baseball.... I found out years later that it was really Frogger with the wrong label... Thinking about it now, that might have been worth big bucks.

    Also, I once saw Atari's "Raiders of the Lost Ark" on a list of worst video games ever. I do not understand this as I always counted that game was one of the BEST ever and well ahead of its time. To each his/her own, I suppose.

    Atari 2600 was my first console. Still got it. My sister and I both had our own. Back during a time when it was still pretty expensive, my parents bought a bunch of them for $5 each, I believe. They had some friends that ran an auction house and they would frequently get things REALLY cheap that just didn't sell after the auctions ended. We were really lucky kids!
