PCOS and Type 1 Diabetes

Hi,
I have PCOS and Type 1 Diabetes. I am having a really hard time loosing weight. I know alot of folks take metphormin on here but the doctor does not recommend that in my case. I was wondering if there were any other type 1 diabetics on here that have PCOS and if they can offer me any tips or suggestions.:happy:
