Curious when people started noticing that this was making a difference? What did you first notice? Were you tracking weight at all, did you notice that your weight went up before it went down?

Well I'm only in week 2, but I took some pictures a couple weeks ago that I'll use as before pics. I don't really plan on tracking my weight, but I do plan on tracking body fat percentage and (most importantly) the strength gains.

Honestly, I don't think anyone should use the scale if they start this program, especially after the workouts start getting really heavy.

I'm in week 4, and my weight has been hovering about a pound, maybe two, more than when I started. But I'm never NOT sore, so I know I have some DOMS going on. Measurements are too close to really tell. I can't see any changes in the mirror because I'm stupid like that and can't be objective, but I'll be taking photos Friday or Saturday.

Mmm I didn't track my changes very well (measurements are just bad for me, I'm terrible at remembering where I measured and how tight, and I swell up like crazy sometimes - ditto for my weight, goes all over the place).

I started in ... January? March? Early this year anyway, Sometime during this year I've dropped maybe 1 to 1.5 pants sizes. I haven't really dropped my weight that I'm aware of, and its very hard to notice clothing size changes gradually.

I'm sure there were gradual changes throughout, but I'd say I really accepted/acknowledged them after about 6 solid months? Ish? Back in may, I was wearing a size 8 pants and a 10 in my old navy shorts. Now my old size 8s are a bit loose in certain areas and the Old Navy 8s fit quite well. Also my stomach looks flatter all around in my workout clothes.

I guess I should measure. I don't know. Just ...be patient. Be consistent. Celebrate improvements in performance. And - if you are new to exercise and/or new to resistance training you are going to see LOTS of change, quickly, before it slows down, so enjoy that. If you've been lifting for a while, you'll see changes eventually, but it will take time and it might be in weird places you didn't measure or get good pictures of.

And if you have a lot to lose, you'll see changes pretty quickly too as you drop that early easy weight.

    "early easy weight"...does that exist?
