    Just did my 10th day of level 1, not quite as good as Natalie but maybe next 30day session. I really need to keep working on my pushups too! I am starting level 2 tomorrow. So here is a toast to level 2 I really need a butt kicking with the fun I am going to have this weekend!

    I'm onto Day 3 of level 1 today!! Last night my legs were burning when I was doing it!! Still doing the modified version of the push ups but I don't think i'll ever be able to do a normal one!! I'm getting it done though with minimal breaks... Really trying to focus on doing the movements correctly and not necessarily at their same speed... especially when it comes to the lunges and and abs...
  • I went and did level 1 today so that I wasn't burnt out come Saturday (race day). I guess I had gotten overly confident, thinking level 1 would be a complete walk in the park. NOOOPE - it absolutely kicked my butt still.

    I would LOVE to be able to do this program for 30 days straight - I'm just not sure that I could. I really do admire the people who have done that though and their dedication.

    I'm at day 3 of level 1 and starting to feel stronger and more able to get it done. Tonight we're gonna do our best to skip out on friends early enough to be able to come home and get the shred over with. We just feel guilty already taking a day off after only 3 days. We don't really have a planned day off... we're just gonna keep going until we just physically can't do it or because lack of time doesn't permit us to do it! Right now we should be able to (if we can get it done tonight) do it straight through the weekend and into next week easily.. no big plans!! So no excuse... should be able to do atleast level 1 straight through..
  • I am on day 4 of level 2 and I just checked my measurements (bc I am up a lb, this week and was sad).

    I am down 2 inchest in my waist, 1 inch on hips and 1/2 an inch on each thigh! 4 INCHES total.Holy crap, I am so Stoked. I'm not even half way through yet. Definetly the motivation I needed to finish.

    Tonight i s day 6 of level 1!! We have done the shred all weekend and plan on going right thru to friday so we can finish level 1!! Next friday will be our first day off! Hopefully nothing happens that will ruin our plans!! Then we'll take level 2 day 1 pics and measurements!!

    Oh I am so sorry to my sore muscles.... sorry enough to put them all through it again tomorrow!:noway: Today was my regular rest day, and boy did I need it! Did Level 2 and I can't even begin to think of what to say, I have never been so confused at what my body was doing or supposed to do! I really hope tomorrow goes better, I was really lost. Not sure I can do the walk out push ups.... very strange pulling in my legs. I think I will just do push ups since they are already quite a struggle for me!

    Completed day 7 of level 1!! Been going non-stop! Still planning on finishing level 1 on thursday and taking our first day off on friday!! My knees are killing me and its getting harder to find the motivation to do it but we're still getting it done!

    hi Im just wondering with this how much of a break are you allowed to take for example I hadnt the time last Eriday Sat and Sunday had 4 days done back at it yesterday so thats day 5 Im at level 1 and think I will be for rest of my life! OIm just wondering if I took too much time off!!!!

    It's up to you on how you want to do it.. there is no set time.. some people add them to their normal workouts 3-4 times a week, some people do it straight thru for 30 days and some people take 1 day off a week. It would happen to me the firs ttime I did the shred to take a few days in a row... it is harder when you take days off in a row to get back to it but the important thing is that you got back to it... just keep going!!

    Completely fell off the wagon this past month. But, dusting myself off and getting back up! Did Day 1, level 1 today and I have to say I actually missed it. How's everyone doing?

    I fell off the wagon (well I was sick) for the last few days so i've actually missed the last 6 days of shred.. starting level 2 tonight!! Want to get the shred done with so I can move on to Ripped in 30!!

    Alright.. November is here and I swore I'd do 30DS again in November after having such good results in Sept (I lost over 9 inches from all over and 12.2 lbs that month!). Well to be fair, it was my first full month of watching my diet and exercising so the weight and inches almost fell off of me lol.

    11/1: 30DS Level 1 and Level 2

    I am going to try to do L1 and L2 daily until the 15th. When I get to the mid-month, I'll switch to Level 2 and Level 3 and see if I can do that! :).

    I wish I could edit my last post.. or just go back in time and remind myself how hard 30DS was the first time around. There's no way I can keep up L1 & L2 every day lol. What was I thinking??

    11/1: 30DS L1, L2 back to back
    11/2: rested.. the overdoing on the previous day was too much. Sore!
    11/3: 30DS L1 + JM's upside down abs workout = 35 mins total
    11/4: 30DS L1 + JM's upside down abs workout = 35 mins total

    I think I killed this thread.. no one else is posting at all :( Here's my updates:

    11/1: 30DS L1, L2 back to back

    11/11: 30DS L1 = 28 mins (Zumba practice too, 60 mins)

    11/12: 30DS L1 = 27 mins (Zumba practice too, 56 mins)

    Know what I love about 30DS (and RI30)? You can do it in a half an hour! That means I can knock it out before work. I love Killer Buns & Thighs, too, but I usually save that one for after work because it takes a little longer.

    I also appreciate that you can adjust each workout to your specific level of fitness. I did 30DS in August, RI30 in September, and KB&T in October, and now I'm rotating between each of them to vary up my workout (plus mountain biking & other activities here & there). Some of the levels of each video have gotten easy for me, so instead of using 5-lb. weights I'm now using 10-lb. ones. It makes a big difference! It's almost like starting all over again!!

    Love my morning workouts with Jillian. Nothing like getting your butt kicked every morning by 5 a.m. to start your day off with the right attitude!
