Vienna Turkey Trot, Interest?

Hey All!
I am trying to meet my goal of completing another 5k by the end of this year. As I investigated my options I found the Vienna Turkey Trot. I just thought I would put it out here to my DMV community to see if anyone else is interested in doing this too.
I plan on walking/jogging this 5k but all speeds are welcome to join in. It could be fun! Here is the site with the info if you want to learn more http://www.viennaturkeytrot.com/. Let me know if you have any interest, we could turn it into a meetup if enough people are interested. There are also a 10k, and a one mile fun run for those who don't have interest in a 5k.

Sounds like fun. I have wanted to do a 5k and This might be a good first one to attempt/complete. I would definitely want to take it easy because of my ankle so it might be a lot more walking than jogging.0

i'm pretty sure i'm in. love 5ks and i did a turkey trot last year in DC. this would be way more convenient, in terms of getting there. I'M LAURA, BTW. 0

double post to add: aren't turkey trots usually the MORNING OF thanksgiving? this one claims to be nov. 18.0

Yeah all the turkey trot's I have seen have been morning of, but I like this because I am usually traveling.0

Well I'm signed up but my ankle/foot has been a re-occurring injury that has been sidelining me. I am going to start swimming and hopefully the low impact exercise will help get me over the injury. I know it is still a while before the 5k but time goes quick. I really want to do this 5k and make the most out of my registration fee.0
