Hi everyone -
I recently had a week long vacation to St. Maarten literally fall in my lap. Most people would have nothing to complain about, but I just discovered that this trip to a beach bum's paradise overlaps with my final week of Insanity. It's really important to me that I follow through and finish the program, but I also find it difficult to imagine myself doing an hour long workout every day of my vacation. From what I can tell, I have 3 options:
1. Take Insanity with me and just stick to the normal schedule - vacation be dammned.
2. Push my final week back until after vacation.
3. Try to speed up my work outs (maybe double a few days and work out on Sundays) to minimize the number of days I have left while I'm gone.
Any thoughts? Right now, I'm leaning toward #3, but would love some feedback and even other ideas. Thanks!

What's an hour out of your day, especially when you're so close to the finish line? You've come so far and gotten so close, and the only way that happens if is you are already making daily sacrifices to begin with.
Sounds like if you finish that week you can think of the vacation as a kind of reward for finishing/doing all that hard work!0 -
If it's me, I would take the DVD with me since it won't ruin my vacation.0

Yes, I agree with the first two responses. You've worked SO hard leading up to this point, and I know you want to finish strong.
I would beat myself up mentally for not finishing on schedule. Your body would definitely get out of the routine, making the last week even harder. And I'm sure keeping your workouts going will either a) keep you in the "healthy" mindframe to make better decisions while on vaca AND/OR b) help keep those dreaded vaca pounds from hitting you at the next weigh in.
Let's face it. You're a bad@ss just for doing Insanity. So finish it!!
AND HOW AWESOME IS THAT ABOUT YOUR VACATION!!!!! YEAH FOR YOU! :drinker:0
