Hi there! Just checking in to see how you are doing!
Things are strange here. I'm seriously wondering if they're going to send the men in white coats to take me away. Why? Because I ran in the rain today! I truly think that anyone who runs in the rain is certifiable. So I guess I am too.

That's awesome!
I am starting to get back on track. I am walking 3x a day wanting to run with my puppy but she hasn't quite got the concept to run beside me not in front of me. LOL.
I am truly inspired by you0 -
Struggling a bit. First week, trying to get in the groove. First low carb day was difficult!!!!0

My first 2 weeks were a bear. I kept reaching for the string cheese as a snack on the high carb days, and desperately wanted fruit on the low carb ones. It will get better! It's part of the reason why in my food log notes I type out what kind of day it is (LC, HC) with my calorie goal. That way I have the concious reminder in my brain what type of day it is while I'm having my morning shake.0 -

Good Job! My daughter wants to go on walks with me, and she hasn't quite got that concept down either... and she's 8! LOL.
I am honored, that you consider me inspiring. Really I am! On the one hand, I can't see how I'm inspiring... but then again, on the other hand... I inspire myself! I honestly can't believe that this is me. I am so thankful for the strength that God is giving me to get through so many of the different battles I'm waging right now (health is only one of them). I am completely baffled that I'm going to run at least a 5k on St Patricks day. Yes, at least. I might run the 8k... If my training allows. I might decide to do the first 5k of the year too (Starts at midnight new years day). But I'm waiting to decide on that until at least Thanksgiving since I hear "week 5" is a killer on C25K. My husband who wants to run, has trouble getting through that week.
Anyway, I went to Jazzercise yesterday for the first time in months. I did great with the cardio portion, even if my "dance moves" have much to be desired. But holy crap, the strength training we did really made my thighs and abs burn!
I did my shapers today for the first time in several weeks. Oh man. They really hurt, especially after jazzercise yesterday. My abs are burning! Going to go out for my next run later, after I get the kids back on track with their school work (I homeschool).0 -
Slow and steady is the key.
I am hoping to start losing weight again hopefully 20lbs by xmas but I will take anything.
Thanks for believing in me0
