Does menopause cause weight gain?

According to a new study, no, menopause does not cause weight gain, but it does change WHERE your body stores fat. (We could've told them that, right?)

    Interesting read, thanks for posting. I guess I'm on a the right track, I'm doing HITT exercises and weightlifting. However, I know I could probably clean up my diet more.
  • I can testify to this. I was always tall and thin, and when I did gain weight I could lose it easily. As I started menopause I I began to drop weight for no reason. I went from 165 down to 132 and looked rail thin.

    Then I gained just as fast only this time it was all around my middle and inner thighs. Just like that, within a few months I had a totally different looking body and was the same weight I was before it all started. Big ol muffin top!

    That is my goal now to lose the menopot and keep it off.
