So, here's a brief version of my why I'm here. I'm about to hit my 14 year mark. I've played the weight game from MCRD San Diego to OCS Quantico to present. I've always ran a 275 or above on the PFT and never been assigned to BCP or been out of regs on a weigh-in. Why? Because like many Marines I take extreme measures (most times unsafe) to cut weight 2-3 weeks prior. I usually hang out around 195lbs and am 5'8". Those of you who don't know, that's 15lbs over my allowed weight. I'm exhausted from doing it this way. I've always slayed myself during PT but when it was time to eat, IT WAS TIME TO EAT! So, here we are and I want to do this the right way. I want to be done stressing about every weigh-in and I want to have something to show for the daily thrashings I give myself in the gym and on the road.
