Not Getting Zombie Chases

Tech info: iPhone4S with iOS6, GPS mode.

I'm not getting zombie chases. I completed my 3rd mission today. I looked over the chase criteria on the website, and I am pretty sure that I am meeting the criteria. The site's FAQ says that you must be moving 3.5 km/h, and I am running over 5 km/h according to ZombieLink. There was a reference to a glitch that some users are not getting chases. Has this been rectified in an update, or am I just one of the lucky ones that this is affecting? My app is fully updated.

If I have it set to miles, does the criteria change to miles per hour? I wouldn't think so because that means that those who are using miles instead of km would have to run faster to get zombie chases.

Are there any tricks to getting the chases working? Yes, I've checked to make sure zombie chases are enabled.

Thanks for any input!

I didn't know that the chases were linked to how fast you were running. I read in another post that folks who are walking can still get chased. or am I thinking of a different feature??

I hadn't used the app for a while until the other day, but my zombie chase didn't work either. Not sure why, because it looks like my settings are correct. Going to give it a go this evening again to see if I can get it figured out.

I should have updated this. I figured out the issue. I was running MapMyRun along with ZombiesRun. They both use GPS, so I think there was a conflict. I stopped using MapMyRun and now I get zombie chases.

If you're having a problem, make sure you're not using other applications that use GPS when you do Zombies, Run. The Zombies, Run app does track your distance when in GPS mode, so you will still know how long you ran; however, you just won't know how far you went until the end of your workout. No big deal.

There is a setting for audio notifications of Distance and Time in Zombies, Run. I have mine set to miles and it updates me just about each mile. If it is playing story clip when you pass a mile it will update you after the clip finishes.

    Thanks, I will check that.

Maybe that is for only iphone?? I dont' see that option under settings or in the mission specific settings page. :(

On my iPhone, calling out time/distance is in the apps main settings, not the mission specific settings.
