November Challenge: Poll (Your Choice)

Here is the poll for the November Challenge (Non-Fiction category). Since there are only 4 books i n the list (so far), I will place all 4 books in this poll. Please choose 1 book, and place your answer below. The thread will be locked on Tuesday, and the book chosen. We will begin reading and discussing on November 1st.

I vote for _The Joy of X_ by Steven Strogatz.

I did not know about "The Joy of X"; it has outstanding reviews. I would most definitely like to read this book in the future, but I would like to cast my November vote for The Shallows.

So many good titles, so little time... I'm going to say the Shallows because it's super-relevant to us all, especially given how much time we spend online In later months perhaps the Joy of X or Hallucinations, both great reads, I'm sure.

(And, in a funny way would be a poignant possible farewell to printed media for the most part, as I am finally caving in and buying one of the new Kindles at the end of this month and plan to transition reading to a digital format in the hopes that it increases consumption while adding the convenience of immediate gratification when book shopping. )
