Great stuff!
I've just started Week 2
Noticed any other results after 3 weeks?0 -
Thank you!
Results??? Not sure about the results...
The 2nd fit test shows some results, but the workouts are still hard. I am sweating, I am out of breath, my heart rate goes up to 168... and sometimes I don't even notice when Shaun T takes his shirt off.
I didn't lose weight since I started with Insanity... and I don't like this point, because the plan was, losing the last pounds with Insanity.
But... I feel smaller... my clothes are getting looser... I feel stronger and maybe I am going to build some muscles... specially those ones which help me to do this evil Push-Ups.
Tomorrow: day 17, Pure Cardio and Cardio Abs.0 -
That's awesome!
Is there anything you struggle with?
However hard I try, I can't seem to co-ordinate my 1-2-3's!
SO frustrating!
hehe, I'm sure I look very gumby trying to do these :laugh:0 -
I don't have a problem with the co-ordinating of this warm up moves.
I am just struggeling to do them as fast and as long as Shaun T wants me to do them.
And I am struggeling with any kinds of Push Ups. And there are a lot of exercises including them.
Push-Up Jacks for example... :noway:0 -
Yeah, the different sorts of push ups are defintiely intense! :laugh:0

Week 3 as well pure cardio + cardio abs..... ouch!0

Gotta learn to love those push ups! Month 2 brings all sorts of PU goodness. Power push ups, squat pushups, push up abs (which I replace with regular PUs), oblique/side push ups AND (drum roll please) LEVEL 3 DRILLS!!!
Are you seeing a difference in your shoulders? Towards the end of month 1, I was able to see muscles developing. I could actually see muscles involuntary flex and move in the mirror when I washed my face or brushed my teeth.. Very cool to **see** a difference in my muscles. Strong is sexy!
Don't worry too much about losing pounds. Your clothes are looser, so that's a success. When you clothes are looser and you are losing inches but staying the same weight, that is a good thing!! It means you are losing fat. CELEBRATE!!!0 -
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, I can see a difference in my shoulders. It's like you said... I can see this moving muscles... and before Insanity there was nothing there. Ya, It's really cool... and I am a little proud of it...
I decided not to worry about the weight. Insanity IS insane... and at the end I will see, how I fee. Perhaps I am going to lose some more weight or go to maintenance the weight. I am near my weight goal, so it's not a big deal anymore.
OK... I am going to love those PUs. Seems that I need them to be prepared for months 2...0 -
Holy Crap, amazing globe jumps improvement! That's some serious quad improvement! Congrats!0

Do you think this burn is correct?
My HRM tells me this:
Fit Test: 220 calories
Pure Cardio: 370 calories
Pure Cardio & Cardio Abs: 520 calories
Cardio Power & Resistance: 350 calories
Plyometric Cardio Circuit: 427 calories
Cardio Recovery: 220 calories
but I feel like burning 1000 cals. :huh:0 -

It will be different for everyone but those numbers look pretty close to what mine were. I'm usually averaging about 10 cals per minute, with the exception of recovery. Don't be disappointed, those are AWESOME burns.0
