Did you know that if the nutrition information for something has more FIBER than it has CARBS, then the data is wrong? Don't use those entries unless they're marked "NET CARBS."

Net carbs = Carbs - Fiber

The number cannot be less than 0.

I count net carbs, so I look for those entries that have the net carbs already adjusted,. If they don't have the fiber deducted, I take them out manually. I have seen some however that take the fiber number off of the entry. I don't like that, as I am trying to reach 25 fiber per day so I want to see how much fiber is in it. I want them to leave the fiber listed, but deduct the fiber grams from the total carbs number to get the NET carbs. Or I will just do it myself.

I use an app add-on that calculates net carbs and charts my percentages. It flags those entries that put net carbs upside down. Helpful.

Wha? I don't get this at all. Never heard of anything like this. Why does this matter?

Well then all those entries in here are wrong? I have only seen a few that say "NET CARBS", in the food data...
Never crossed my mind to watch for that. On a watch now...
