OK, I'm in!

I've been lurking here for a while, trying to figure out the program (it's much simpler than I was trying to make it, I think) and getting up the nerve to actually go to the free weight area of our gym. But today I did it! Ran to the gym, did day 1, and ran home (total 4 miles). I downloaded the app too, and didn't realize until after the fact that I was supposed to be timing myself. I think it took me a total of 25 minutes for the lifting. It was nice because I was the only person in the area I was in, but the bad thing was that there were no mirrors (maybe that's good?!) and I felt like my form was TERRIBLE! Especially on the rows. Maybe just because it's still kind of unfamiliar.
Anyway, I'm in! I loved that it really didn't take too long and even at the lightest weights (45-45-65) I could feel everything working. Also, I don't know my max, so I just went with the recommended start weights and I think that will suit me fine.
Looking forward to continuing and thank you all for the information and support that is already here! It's really helpful!

That is awesome - I swear half the hurdle is getting over the fear of the free weight area - I now feel like I own the place!! haha!
the videos online help tremendously to ensure correct form - and dont be scared to ask people in the free weight area to watch your form and give advice (You'll know which ones to ask!)0
