    Hi Sue,
Really glad to see you here! I too have been struggling so you are not alone.
Prayer really does work, and being part of the group is motivational.
Keep posting and recording your eating and exercise - don't worry about the numbers and items and amounts being perfect, do the best you can. It will make a difference!!

    Praying for you,
    Marian+

Welcome, Sue! Making lifestyle changes is what it's all about and it takes time, patience, learning, and we can't do it alone. Over the last few years I lost a lot with WW, maintained for over a year, then gained a little back and now am here trying to lose again. It's a never ending battle but we can win because we have God on our side and He is our ever present Help. We also need each other for support, encouragement and especially prayers!

I'm sending you a friend request and praying for you,
    Elaine

Thanks, at our church we are doing the first place 4 health and I am the leader lol. The other members do fairly well, my main problem is, I am dealing with a Mother that has dementia and Father on hospice, I do not live really close to them, but, close enough that I have to go there about three times a week. I usually do two days before work and then on Saturday, plus, I am my Aunts legal caregiver and she lives with them as well. I tell my Dad, ever pound he loses I gain lol. I know not really funny, but, it made him laugh. So, lots of prayers are needed, in many different ways. Plus, being a Pastor's wife as you probably know is another job in itself and my job is fulltime. Thanks for the prayers and respone.

We have some things in common! I'm also a pastor's wife and work full-time. I have a home office, though, and flexible schedule for work as long as I get it done but I have to be really disciplined to keep up. Sunday is my only day off from work but I teach adult Sunday School, help with children's church and am the NMI president (definitely not complaining - I love it). My mom just had hip replacement surgery today but she's in CT and we're not able to get there too often. You definitely have your hands full taking care of your mom, dad and aunt. Try to take the time to take care of yourself too!
