Hello fellow Twilight Lovers!

Are we ready for week 6 of our fall challenge?

1). The first item involves watching some t.v., or possibly some internet. Woooohooo, who doesnt like watching some tv? Our beloved Twilight stars and Stephenie Meyer are going to be doing numerous tv/talk show interviews this week. (To find out who is interviewing where, As movie Edward would say, 'You can Google it!'). Your task is to watch one or more of the interviews and report back to the team. What kind of impression were you left with? Did they promote Twilight, did they promote other endeavors? What did you think about their interview skills? How were they dressed? Were they fun to watch? Did they sparkle or give off a lot of a lot of warmth? If you were the person doing the interviewing, what question would you have asked?

2). Our second item has to do with Daylight savings time. With the lesser number of daylight hours, our beloved vampires will thoroughly enjoy more time out and about. As humans however, being stuck inside at work during the daylight hours, leaves us with very little sun exposure. Our challenge is to consume 2 items per day containing Vitamin D, the Sunshine Vitamin.

Studies of Vitamin D have been shown to ward off M.S., schizofrenia, and breast cancer. Foods and beverages that are often vitamin fortified are milk, dairy and soy products, cereals, & orange juice. Vitamin D comes naturally in a variety of fish, cavier (thought you might like that one) shrimp, mushrooms, and egg yolks.. So that means Starbucks lovers, Cereal lovers, Chobani lovers.....this one shouldn't be too tough! For adults, a recommended daily allowance is 600 IU. Some estimated IU measures are show below:

Salmon, cooked (3.5 ounces). 360
Sardines, canned (1.75 ounces) 250
Tuna, canned (3 ounces) 200
Milk (1 cup) 100
Vitamin D-fortified orange juice (1 cup) 100
Soy beverage (1 cup) 100
Margarine, fortified (1 tablespoon) 60
Breakfast cereal, fortified (1 serving) 40
Egg (1 whole) 20
Under proper circumstances, 10-15 minutes of sun exposure to legs and arms can produce most of the vitamin D your body needs, but smog, wearing sunscreen, cloud cover and your age can play a role in limiting absorption.

3.). :blushing: Sometimes it can be easy to get complacent about exercise and we can use all the mojo we can muster. Your task this week is to change things up a bit and do some Twilighty themed exercise moves. Some examples to help get you started thinking might be.....Jacob's Jumping Jacks, Edwards Mountain Lion Leaps, Jasper's Gregariously Good Jogging... Set your own goal for your weekly exercise minutes, but throw in some Twilighty moves at least 3 times this week.

4.). :drinker: H2O. Lets keep working on staying hydrated this week. 64 oz total, allowing for 48 oz water and 16 oz. non caffeinated if necessary.

Most of all everyone, lets have a great week. The count down clock to Breaking Dawn 2 is ticking. Wooohoooo exciting!

I saw Peter and Elizabeth on Ellen yesterday. They were really funny and promoted Breaking Dawn but were mostly just being silly and having a good time. Ellen gave Elizabeth a pair of pink underwear Liam Neeson had worn on her show and Peter taught Ellen a new dance.
They mentioned that as a surprise for Bill Condon they staged a big dance production with all the vampires, including Volturi. This puts me in mind of a Hillywood parody. Peter said he hoped it would be an alternate ending, a dance off instead of a fight. Hopefully we will be able to see this as a bonus on the DVD.
If you missed it you should be able to see it on Ellentv.com.

Not sure about my vitamin D yesterady but I did drink 2 glasses of milk. I was bad and didn't log my food.
Water, not great, again didn't log.

Thanks for keeping us on track, Yvonne!

Several cast members have said "don't leave the theater when the movie ends" and supposedly it's because they did a dance number that will appear after the credits. Guess we'll see in about 10 days!

I am a not-so-closet Aro Fan. Watched Michael Sheen on Craig Ferguson the other night, however, he really didn't talk about BD2 at all. He didn't talk about any movies that I recalled, it was just more goofy stuff. Like talking about his shoes, he said the style was at one time referred to as brothel creepers. Very funny! They were black and white and i would have called them spectators. I do love shoes though, so I was fascinated by that information.

There are some interviews here from the BD2 junket I ran across on the internet. Michael Sheen gave a great interview and now I am compelled to go see the rest of the cast. I am DVRing the talk shows this week so I can see them in slow-mo if necessary.

Here is the link to the michael sheen junket in case you want to check them out. You can find the others listed here as well.

Monday check in: pretty good on hydration. Had milk and waffles with vitamin D, and I took a multivitamin. No workout
Today check in: crappy on hydration, milk, ice cream, yogurt and multivitamin. Even got off early and enjoyed a little bit of sun. No exercise, other than exercising my right to vote.

Sorry guys, my online time is being eaten the online course I'm taking. I haven't had a chance to see any interviews at all. I stayed up to watch Leno on Monday, but I fell asleep.

I'm good with the Vitamin D. I get a fair amount of sunshine since I eat my lunch outdoors 3 days a week. I drink a lot of milk and eat tuna twice a week, and I also take a supplement with 1,000 units because I know how important it is in working with calcium to promote strong bones. And we vampires have VERY hard bones.

Sorry, my Twilighty moves have looked a lot like my old human moves except I've been doing them with red eyes -- does that count?

Water has been good. I'm a very THIRSTY newborn!

Tommorw, I plan to meet some of my super Twi-hard friends who are camping out at the premier this weekend. They fly across the country to do this, and party-pooper me won't drive 30 miles to camp out. (But I will go hang out with them and drink Starbucks and talk Twilight -- but camp out --no way)!

Kathy, I am not a happy camper either. I must have indoor sleeping and potty arrangements, call me high maintenance, haha, but that's life! I am a priss!

I had milk and pancakes and my multivitamin today and I got a walk n while it was still light out so my vitaminD should be in check..
    8 glasses of water
Cardio, 49 minutes, walking with some jogging. No special Twilighty moves other than I had visions of twilight in my head while I was walking. I can definitely identify with the red vampy eyes, I was in bed at 730 pm and up at 230 a.m. Today. Got to work at 5. Sure is peaceful out at that time. I am dragging now, it is time to go to bed! I think I will snuggle up on the couch to an episode of Supernatural.

I haven't been online at night much this week....too much happening right now! I also hadn't watched any interviews, but I just went on youtube and checked out the Jimmy Kimmel interview of Robert Pattinson. He was ADORKABLE!! Links are below to help you:

    Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgErg3dIwvQ

    Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2PFeVQR8GE&NR=1&feature=endscreen

I'm not sure how much Vitamin D I'm getting, but I do eat greek yogurt every weekday morning now. The package says 15% but how that translates to the proper units, I have no clue.

Water is never a problem for me since I only drink that and coffee. Doing good so far.

Exercise IS a problem for me as I have NO TIME right now to do what I want to do! And if I'm honest, I don't really have the energy either with all I have on me personally/professionally at the moment. I did a class yesterday at work where we learned some things and then did 30 minutes of strength training with a resistance band. I logged it as 25 minutes for an lag time between moves. I don't know what kind of Twilight moves we were doing.....maybe since it was all strength, it can be Emmett's Bulging Muscle Blast Workout! (B.L.A.S.T. was the name of the workout = Breaktime, Lunchtime, Anytime Strength Training)

Hope you are all having a great week! Only a week to go for those of you seeing it on the 15th!:flowerforyou:

Where the heck has the week gone? Long hours at work haven't helped. But I have been packing my lunch and snacks daily to make sure I am getting my 2 servings of Vitamin D-licious foods in. I had ravioli de portabella at Olive Garden on Thursday for a work meeting. It wasn't Bella's ravioli, but I did pretend. Mushroom shave Vitamin D! So how could I go wrong?

I have been out walking, last night it was super windy, so i couldnt prowl for wild animals, they were in hiding with the exception of the stinky skunk. This week i have managed to get in my Jasper's Gregariously Good Jogging. And some Edwards Mountain Lion Leaps,

Have caught little tidbits here and there of different entertainment shows where they have mentioned our lovely Twilight cast. I have my shows recorded and plan to watch them here soon.

Hope everyone is having a most Twilighty day, i am jealous of Kathy who has been down at Twilight camp visiting her brave friends who are camping out there for the premier!

    Have a great Saturday!

After a morning workout of Jasper's Combat Training Circuit, I again went to visit my friends at Camp Twilight. I was there for the concert that featured Anya Marina, Nikki Reed and Paul MacDonald, and Christina Perri. My friends were on Good Morning America today.
