Morning Peeps! This first week is back to fundamentals. Sometimes when you have been dieting for a long time you overlook the obvious. Check out the article I posted from Tom Venuto on calorie deficits. It's so important that you log, log, log!! Log every single morsel that crosses your lips. The second thing is to log your exercise. So you need to move it! Even if it's 30 minutes. Maybe you just went up and down the steps at work for 30 minutes on your lunch. I know I've had a crazy busy week and I'm squeaking in the exercise. But I have a goal in sight and a pair of jeans that I used to love. How about you? Are you committed? Can you get past day 1 and make that committment?

    Also, I am paying attention to my exact measurements for my food~ no more "eye balling it". I have the measuring cups, the teaspoons/tablespoons and the digital scale right in front of me... no excuses!
