Hi would just like to start by saying hi, my name is Mackenzie. Im currently pregnant with my third child. Due on april 12,2013. Im currently 17 weeks 5 days along.
1st pregnancy: Pre-pregnancy weight 145 weight at delivery 207. Strict bedrest from 26 weeks til 37 weeks duoe to going into preterm labor
2nd pregnancy Pre-pregnancy weight 170 weight at delivery 199
After being on depo for a year i stopped because I gained weight and was up to 210. Also was diagnosed with pcos. Even after over 6 months of eating right and excerising i only managed to get down to 199 pounds. So i was going to the obgyn to be put on medicene for my pcos and thats the day I found out i was pregnant. So at my first real apt i was 8 weeks and back to 200 pounds. Now i range from 196-199. My goal through this pregnancy is to eat healthier, and to hopefully not go over 210 pounds. Looking for friends that are currently pregnant or just had a baby. Looking for advice, and just overall buddies.

Hey! Congrats on your pregnancy!!!! I, too have pcos...I've known I've had it for about 6 years now. Its definitely been a struggle bc I've been overweight for that long and I've always had insane cycles. They put me on metformin about 3 years ago but I don't feel like it did anything until I tried to lose weight. In a years time I was able to lose 86 lbs and found out I was pregnant!! Feel free to add me :)

Hi, welcome, and congratulations! There is an April 2013 due dates thread you may want to check out, as there will be other women who are at about your same spot in their pregnancies.

I am due in late May (I'm 11w4d today) but lost a lot of weight after my first pregnancy (I was about 190 pre-pregnancy, 255 before I delivered, then lost about 20# and stalled - I lost 82 pounds to get down to 153.8, but I started this pregnancy at probably 160 because I had gotten lazy over the summer with my eating). I have gained about 7# so far and am trying to keep my gain reasonably low. I don't have PCOS but have definitely still struggled with my weight for my entire life, at least once I hit puberty.

I am not yet open with my non-pregnant MFP friends about my being pregnant (save for a couple of them that I've told privately) because I know one of them in real life, but I will be soon. If you'd like to add me, that's great! I am not logging my gains on MFP, and I've taken down my ticker. I simply plan to restart once I'm geared up to do so after I have this baby
