Thanks Cooriander for initiating and administering this challenge.
Since starting with the challenge it has done two things for me:
1) I have started running in miles. We use metric in South Africa, and now my 7 km runs has turned into 7.2 km, my 5 km runs into 5.4 km, my 10km to 11.2 km so that I can log nice round numbers in miles. I like round numbers! Over a month it has also added bits of pieces to my running distance.
2) I have run for through anger and stress. Both gives me strength and vooma. I have run through tiredness because I know I will feel energised after a run. This challenge has helped me to run through grief. My mom passed away recently and I have seriously underestimated how physically draining emotions could be. Many a morning the only reason why I went out for a run was because I had a goal committed in writing.
