So I have had this horrible cough for about two plus weeks now. Doctors are treating me for Bronchitis. Sometimes when I cough I pee a little... it's so annoying. I am currently wearing THREE panty liners. I have them in a line cover EVERYTHING from front to back. It's SOOOO annoying! Any tips??

Hopefully medicine kicks in and that cough gets better sooon. It took me a few weeks to get over my cough this pregnancy and there was plenty of crossing my legs as I coughed lol put on a regular long pad just so you not wearing 3.. no really other tips other then I feel for you. after having my 2nd i got sick in the hospital and was coughing for over a month.. From all the strain on my abdomen from birth and coughing I ended up in the ER.. It was a night mare. but it finally went away. so be patient..

I have a little bit of an accident almost everytime i sneeze. Other than wearing a pad theres not much to do until the baby is born. Just one of the many things we deal with while pregnant ;)

Oh man :( I have just recently started peeing a little when I sneeze, so I can't imagine having bronchitis. Aside from what you're doing now, I guess just make sure you empty your bladder as often as possible? Otherwise, hopefully it stops when you feel better!

Unfortunately it is a side effect just be prepared with pads. I like the thin long pads. It seems like I have the same problem when I sneeze and since you never know when that will happen its best to be prepared.

This has to be my FAVORITE pregnancy symptom. It makes me feel so....glamorous.

On a more serious note, I've actually "almost" ordered my solution to this problem on Amazon....ben wa balls. "As seen in 50 Shades of Gray!". Seriously, that's the line some sellers tag them with on Amazon to make you want to buy them....I just want to stop peeing myself!

    Kegals!

Strengthen that pelvic floor! (And just accept that this is a normal pregnant thing)

I have had a cold since last week that includes coughing and turned into laryngitis, so I had zero voice on Saturday and have had very little voice yesterday and today... My coughing hasn't been that bad, honestly (I'm not worried that it's bronchitis, and I spent the weekend with my pediatrician BIL, and he didn't think it sounded that bad), but when I have the rare coughing fit, I admittedly pee a little even though I am trying desperately to hold it in (which I think somehow makes me more likely to pee).

Unfortunately I wasn't prepared for that, but the couple of times it happened, I was at home, so all I had to do was change my underwear.

My suggestion, however, would be the long, thin pads or the overnight pantiliners, since they have pretty good coverage without messing with panty lines and/or making you feel like you're wearing a diaper.

I find the only thing that helps is peeing often even if I don't feel like going. It prevents my bladder from being too full.
