Hi all Iam currently 7 weeks 3 days prego with my 3 baby. Lately I have had severe morning sickness to the point where it's hard to keep anything down so I snack with things like Apples and crackers but I know Iam deffentily not getting the nutrients I need, any ideas on how to get some extra nutrients? I take prenatals also. I have Hurd working out can help with morning sickness so I tend to get on the treadmill when I feel nauseated a slow 10 min walk but after I do it I get cramps. I am considered high risk because of some bleeding I had in early pregancy, but that stop and I feel the baby's fine., my next app is at the end of November and we hope to get an ultrasound and see the baby's heart beat

I had severe morning sickness in the first tri. Exercise made it worse. If you are concerned, call your dr's nurse line. Otherwise, maybe take a break and lie down for a while. Cold oranges and saltines helped me.0

I had really bad MS from weeks 8-12-ish. I would not exercise if I were you. Maybe just go for a long walk...or swimming. Something light that won't tax your body too much.0

I lucked out and really only had a couple of bad weeks of morning sickness, but what I felt helped a lot was dairy, specifically chocolate ice cream and chocolate milk. (I know, GREAT advice for MFP, right?) I didn't need to eat/drink a whole ton of either, just a bit. I actually preferred the chocolate milk to the ice cream, maybe because I could sip it slowly, but it will provide you with some protein, calcium, and vitamin D. The fact that you are taking prenatals is good, too. You're probably getting a lot of your needed nutrients there, but calorie-wise, you're probably way under, and my guess is that it's sapping your energy and making you feel even worse. Just eat whatever makes you feel the best, as much of it as you can handle without making yourself sick. Don't worry too much about the nutrients at this point; your vitamins are pretty good for that, and when you are feeling better, even a little bit, you can add some more variety.
As for exercise, I did find that exercise made me feel normal again for a short period of time; however, I was doing high-energy exercise (I was cleared by my OB), and that's hard to do if you don't have a lot of energy. Walks are good. Cramping is normal, too, and for some reason I found that exercise triggered it, too. I guess you have to pick which you'd rather deal with, cramping or nausea :frown:
Sorry, I wish I had better advice! Congratulations, though!0
