Hi Everyone!
I thought I would start a thread for us to share recipes and meal ideas.

Here is one you may enjoy if you like Chinese stuff.

Tea Eggs
Soy sauce
Star Anise
Black Tea (I like using Morning Thunder from Celestial Seasonings)
Garlic, pepper - optional

Boil half a doz eggs or a doz eggs depending on your family size.
Set aside to cool.

In a large pot, fill half way with 1/2 water and 1/2 soy sauce
Add 4-5 tea bags
4-5 Star Anise
Whole garlic (as many cloves as you like) or garlic salt - about a tablespoon
Pepper - about a teaspoon
Bring to a boil and turn off.

Crack the eggs all around, but don't peel them. Put them back into the brine to soak overnight.

The next morning you can put them in a tupperware and keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.

They are 90 cal and a great protein snack.
