I only really cook a limited number of meals and have found myself getting bored with what I'm making. Which then leads to me eating lot's of unhealthy snacks or take out.

So, basically, I'm looking to try new recipes for quick, easy and healthy meals. If you have any go to recipes, please share! My two "new" recipes this week that I tried out, courtesy of Pinterest, are:

Sweet Fall Crock Pot Bake -
Ingredients: 2 large sweet potatoes, 4 apples, 12 ounces chicken, 1 tsp ginger, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg, 1/2 cup no sugar added applesauce.

Directions: Combined sliced sweet potatoes, sliced apples, chicken, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and apple sauce in Crock Pot. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 8 hours.

Serve: Serve over brown rice. Makes 4 servings.

Baked Mac & Cheese -
Ingredients - 4 cups broccoli, 4 cups pasta, 2 cups light shredded cheese of choice, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, 3/4 fat free plain Greek Yogurt.

Directions: Combine steamed broccoli, cooked pasta, shredded cheese, parmesan cheese and Greek Yougurt in baking Dish. Bake on high at 425 for 20 minutes.

Serve: Makes 4 servings.
