So, my nephew takes a field trip to a Gem and Mineral mine and brings back stones for his mom and his favorite auntie...he gives me a Tiger's Eye, which apparently wards off people wishing you ill will, a blueish stone he said brings you money and a white stone he called a love stone. I asked what it did, and he says "Brings you love." I said, "Oh, good-I need that one!!" and my loving sister says "That's the last one you need, you are 0 for 2 in THAT area!" LOL

    I must admit I bought one of those stones when I was abroad a few years ago. I wore it with pride and anticiaption. :love:

    I then met this guy that was the meanest, selfish, worst-sex-I've-ever-had SOB!! :explode:

    It's now in the bin!! :laugh:

    Visited my stepdad and his GF recently. His GF is a sweetie, but make a HUGE deal of the fact that I don't have a "special someone" in my life. She goes on and on (to the point where it gets uncomfortable)...well you have this going for you and that going for you, I can't understand why you aren't dating anyone????

    My stepdad pipes in..."well she's not a young woman anymore".
