Stalls

So, I'm finishing up week 3 and everything is going well. No stalls or missed reps; but I know they are coming.

I'm wondering when people experienced their first stalls on each of the lifts. I've heard the Press is usually the first.

Thanks!

This morning I completed my second workout of week 8.

Row was the first stall for me, week 2 at 70 lbs, then actually had to deload. Finally I have progressed past that stall, adding 1.5-2 lbs per workout, not the recommended 5.

Overhead press was next: Week 4 at 52.5 lbs. I advance VERY slowly on this one: I am up to 59 lbs on this one now, stalled again last workout, but was able to complete 5x5 this morning. Plan to advance to 60 lbs next time.

Progressed really well with deads at first (up through week 5), but now have had to deload because I get very dizzy and am acutely aware of my back (not pain, just a little bit of a worrisome enhanced awareness!). Going real slow on this one too: Advancing max 5 lbs per workout.

    Keep up the great work!!!

I think my first squat stall was at 130, then second was 150 or so. Rows I don't remember, 75? I spent a long time fiddling with those to figure out the right way to do them though. overhead press was 65. Bench was 85. Deadlift was ...165? SOmething like that.

I've progressed to 170 on squat without stalling, but I've done the same 70 lb OH Press twice now... the last one I got 5/5/5/5/4 (GAH!) and my Rows are killing me at 95 lbs. I've had 5/5/4/4/3 and then 5/5/3/4/3 ... I'm sure I'll fail next time and deload to 85 lbs which will be a HUGE relief. So far I've been progressing on bench at 110 but failed a few reps today 5/5/4/5/3.

I have to go back and read the plan... I can't remember when you switch to 1x3... I know I'm going to have to deload soon on the rows for sure.
