My name is Vicki, age 55 and have type 2 diabetes for 24 years. Like many people with a chronic illness I have gone thu the stage of
denial, anger (why me) and acceptance after having a stroke that cause loss of vision, becoming unable to walk and talk in 2007. I also have been diagnosis with CHF (after taking Avanda) and lupus. I have recover thanks to GOD 90% and have been trying to get my health on track. The road has been a very difficult and lonely road and I have joined this group to share and learn from others.
I hope to be a active member and hope to get to know more about how others are coping with the diease.
I wish evryone a wonderful Thanksgiving and WATCH THOSE CARBS!! lol::laugh:
