Hello Ladies, I hope all is well. I know I have been a bit absent this past week. School is kicking my butt. I am now in week 13 of TF and as I said, I have to improvise because i don't have my advanced DVDs yet. However I will keep pushing play. Last week was tough for me. I was logging all my food as I should and didn't make the best choices. So, I had to stop and reset. This week Happy Turkey Day is coming up and I am getting prepared! Prepared to work out, prepared to cook, preparted to eat...and then prepared to do MORE WORKING OUT!

Today I did Fire 30, I got up a little late and had to be out the house by 6:15am.

Hi girls! Did my Chest & Back today. I didn't workout yesterday. I was having bad cramps and usually if I even walk around it makes them worse so I didn't think it was a good idea to do a TF workout. It's ok I workout 5 days last week. The 6th is usally a bonus for me. I work towards it but if I don't get it in I will not stress about it. I am thinking a lot about how I want to live my life and I don't know if 6 days a week for forever is feasible. so this is my new strategy. =) It's a busy week this week. Going to prep and make all the food and bake the baked goods on Wed. Cook all the things that need to cook on Thursday. I am looking forward to the yummy food. I am cooking it all so it will be yummy. LOL I cook well and that is one of the things I can brag about. =D

Lucy--- Don't be too hard on yourself. Taking a break is good just jumping back on the wagon is key.

Hi, I was out yesturday not what I wanted but the computer and me were not getting along. I wanted to throw it out the window and it didn't want to go, by working but just not enough to get me logged in. I am back to day 1 on MFP. :frown: I hate computers. I don't have the phone option yet but maybe soon. I took a rest day on sat. and did fire30 and upper 20 yesturday. I did fire 45 ez and lower 20 today. I will be juggling the class schudle a bit with black friday shopping on friday, but other then that I should be able to get the rest in. I do agree with you Melzy. I think I may do that to but I am really enjoying the workouts and 6 days isn't to bad just sometimes life makes it tough. I love to cook to and I do have to say I am pretty good at it too. However it's part of the reason I am as heavy as I am. LOL you have to know if what your making is good or not. I hope your set comes soon Lucy. I hope everyone has a great rest of the day.

Ps I like the new pic Jeni. I thought your hair was stright? Did hubby take it? Anyway I like it and your necklace too!

Hey guys, started week 11 today. I also hit a milestone this week- 40 lbs gone FOREVER!!! 16 lbs left to go!!!

Vini, my hair is naturally curly. I got tired of people telling me I looked like the girl from the movie "Brave", so I straightened it for quite awhile. Now that the movie's not as new, I'm letting it curl again.

Man almost burned 500 cals. so cool hehe. soreness from p90x is almost gone now also. so glad because I hate being sore. it takes a few days for it to go away now but nothing like 2 weeks of when I first started working out. Pretty awesome. =D Hope yall have a good day.

That is great, Melzy hope your abs don't get as sore as mine. I could hardly laugh or breath. :) Not really but man they did hurt. I did fire 55 today, I so do not enjoy that one. My buns are sore again from doing lower 20, that means it's working right? Jeni I also have very stright hair so curly would be nice, everyone always wants what they can't have. :) My hair when curled goes flat about half way through whatever event I have it looking nice for. Hope your liking week 11. Lucy, Lucy where are you? I know your have a busy week so if you are reading this then I just wanted you to know we miss you. Keep pushing play Ladies.

Phew today was busy but I got my leg workout in. That thing was hard! I didn't even use weights! Loved it though. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. I sure am thankful for many things in my life! No one can feel guilty about eating a lot. I am going to eat. It only happens once a year and no one gets fat in just one day :) see y'all on Friday! Doing a tf workout hehe.

Hi guys! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. This week was also a bust for working out, so I'll be doing week 11 starting today. The only workout I got this week was crazy Black Friday shopping last night. Oy. I really, really need to get back into the swing of things. I'm very thankful for you guys and your motivation. =) You're all awesome!

Hey guys! Things have been pretty quiet here on the message board. How's everyone doing? I'm still on track. Did Fire 45 yesterday and Tone 30 today. Couldn't do the HIIT 25 workout because my neighbor is home. Luckily the tone and sculpt workouts don't require jumping or moving a lot. =)

Hi all! Hope you don't mind some fresh folks in here! I'm Connie and I just started today with Fire 30/Stretch 10. I have about 40 pounds to lose and attend Weight Watchers for the meetings, but don't do points - I'd rather do MFP and eat clean, but the meetings are helping me with other habits. I started TF about a year ago but stopped due to some kind of nerve irritation that put me in the hospital for observation. Freaked. Me. Out. After a bunch of very stressful events, I found myself at my heaviest of 173, and taking blood pressure medication. This won't do. So I'm taking them and with my doc's go ahead, I'm working out more. I find my HR monitor to be a great investment for TF! I now know my HR zone and am now careful to stay within it with modified moves, since I'm heavier and it doesn't take a lot of work to get out the zone.

Btw, Jeni, have you thought about getting jigsaw gym mats? I live in an apartment, and the mats really cushion the impact. I only hear my feet hitting the mat and the noise is minimal.

Hope you ladies are having a good time with the program!

A jigsaw mat? I never thought of that before!! I think I have a new Christmas present hint to drop to the hubby now =) And welcome aboard!! We're always open to new TF friends =)
