Its Monday weekend review time. Who did who, Dates, projects races come on people give up the details.... They made me come to work on Monday because of the long Thanksgiving weekend coming.
Friday I went to the party at the bar with Mr. NG. Several of the girls did a *****cats doll routine to loosen up my buttons. It was pretty good. GOt home at 4 am was at work at 830 am:yawn:
Saturday we went and saw Skyfall. Now I have to say I have never cared for Daniel Craig as Bond he just doenst quite fit the part. However the movie was excellent.
Sunday Watch my Jets finally win a game :smooched: Then went to the car show in Miami beach with Mr. NG. It was pretty cool I got to drool over tons of cars I will never own.. Then I went to go play pool with FFWB cause Mr. NG had an early morning. Thankfully FFWB seems to be coming out of his heartbreak and I got to play wing man last night. I swear I'm so good at it I should charge lol:bigsmile:
To all my American SP enjoy Thanksgiving and our nice long weekend.....

Friday evening my man and I went to a "free" night for Columbus "Zoo Lights", where they open up the Zoo after dark and it's all lit up - usually it's $14/person to get in and $7 to park, but if you brought 5 cans of food each you got both free, and of course first we went to Mellow Mushroom and had too much beer and pizza. Saturday ran errands, Sunday I made red beans and rice from scratch and these wonderful Mexican Hot Chocolate Snickerdoodles, that I managed to only eat one of and pawned the rest off on co-workers...we stayed in all day then watched the Steeler game until I fell asleep and missed the last 15 minutes...0

Your weekend sounds awesome!
I spent most of the weekend with Rufio and volunteering. He is officially microchipped (I was more anxious about the needle than he was, almost cried when he yiped). Then we went to puppy class. I train him on my own, I'm just doing puppy class for socialization mostly. He was clearly the smartest pup there (totally bragging, definitely brag worthy). Then he and I walked around petco letting strangers pet him and play with him and meeting more dogs (socialize, socialize, socialize). He was tuckered out when we got home!
Yesterday we did volunteering and he and I practiced with his separation anxiety (it's getting MUCH better, but clearly still not resolved). Then I got home, did my chores and promptly spent the rest of my Sunday being lazy with the puppy... mistake because he then decided that 9:30pm was time to wake up and play play play! I asked my roommate if he would walk him and he said sure... took him out for five minutes to the dumpster and back. So I had to play with him until he was ready for bed again (my fault, I shouldn't have let him sleep all day).
This morning we did Pooch To 5K and played before I had to get ready for work. He didn't start crying until I was out the door. It is the worst part of my day leaving him behind.
Also did some work with the cats coming out and interacting with him. I love that even my anxiety cat will cuddle with me despite Rufio being near. Everything is starting to fall into place. People that know me are commenting on how happy I seem, that I'm "joyous" and it's true. The only thing I'd change is that I wish I worked closer to where I live so that I could go home on my lunch breaks to exercise Rufio - until then, the roomie is on duty for that.

Friday night 3 of my girl friends and I went to see an impov act and we were their only audiance for the 1st half of the show. It was so much fun like our own little private showing.
Saturday during the day I went to zoo/safari thing where we rode around on horse drawn wagon and feed a bunch of animals like water buffalo, giraffe, elk, and emu.
Saturday night I decided to stay in instead of going to the movemeber benefit followed by a birthday party at a new club.
Sunday I played a couple games of pick up kickball and then relaxed the rest of the day.
I have so many things planned for this week that a nice chill weekend was in order.0 -

How did you become a NY Jets fan living in South FL?0 -

My mom was born in NY and lived there til she was 11... She brain washed us in utero lol.. Both my kids are Jets and Dolphin fans. Its funny cause my Dad is a Dolphins fan the gametime used to be epic in my house.0 -
Friday I sat around the house waiting on the HVAC man to show. On the brightside, they sent a very handsome and social man. On the downside, the unit was not fixed....there's an unknown issue that he couldn't figure out (possibly that it's time to replace the unit). Friday night, I brought my daughter grocery shopping and we had a blast rolling through and finding things for Thanksgiving. She was singing songs and trying to find untraditional things to throw on the table.
We spent Saturday cleaning the house and then playing Uno (I know, an exciting life...). I started a bottle of wine after the kids went to bed. It tasted so good that I had to finish it. So, any odd looking messages on here were a result of that.
Yesterday was a nice morning at church followed by an insane afternoon birthday party for a friend's one year old. After that I needed a quiet evening. So, I spent a couple hours at Barnes & Noble / Starbucks. It was really a nice night. Just some "me time" relaxing.0 -
I love car shows too!!
The weekend was great. I had an awesome 1st date Saturday night. We saw each other yesterday too and again, a blast. We shall see. I'm actually giddy and he told me he doesn't like to multidate, he rather focus on one person and see how it goes.
My nephew loved his cake!!! He stared at it for 10 minutes. Made all the hard work worth it.0 -
Nothing super exciting since I worked all weekend, as usual. However with this rain we are experiencing up here in the Pacific Northwest, I pulled old my old rain coat that I got 3 years ago. Yeah, 5XL is too big for me. I need to go shopping now. I am looking forward to it and not. I have to shop Big & Tall but only 1 store in my area. I have to go to Seattle if I want a bigger selection.0

On Friday I went to the movies with my friend and her coworkers. We went to a luxury theater type place where you pay more for the ticket, but they have leather recliners and a bunch of leg room as well as a button that you can press for someone to come over if you want to order food or drinks. It was a nice experience. On Saturday I went on a date and the guy had a unibrow and couldn't stop talking to my chest instead of me. He was definitely not subtle about it and I had everything covered up. He payed for dinner and that was nice, but I made a run for it early. I ended up going out with some friends later. On Sunday I watched my poor Steelers lose.0

Got a hotel with a hot tub and continental breakfast.. So that was fun.
Studied, slept, put up a few x-mas decorations and found some gifts for my family!
Nothing too terribly exciting.0 -
Was a tough week for me, so a good friend invited me over to hang out Friday nite with her and her hubby. We drank Jack & Gingers and laughed alot. Good for the soul!
Saw a movie Saturday afternoon, then my boy came home from college for the week. Hung out with him a bit. Went to a party Saturday night with a bunch of good friends. Hadn't seen them in awhile. Fun night.
Sunday was pretty low key, but the Redskins pulled out a win!! Hail Yeah!0 -
Well Friday night at home with my furry ones.
Saturday went Christmas shopping for me with grandma. She bought me a new double breasted wool coat, work out clothes (the top is my new pic) and a new bra (yay). Then we ran errands, Starbucks, Trader Joes, etc.
Sunday, did laundry, watched tv and played on the net on my phone since my freaking modem died, and waiting for AT&T to replace it.0 -

That sounds like a great weekend! We did puppy school too, for my Lola (*Olde English Bulldog) and loved it!0 -
My weekend was busy and quiet all at the same time.
My teen girl was in a play last night (Alice in Wonderland) and her humanities class put on a Victorian Tea for intermission. It was a lot of fun.
Shopped for Christmas for my girls (ipods, Bath & Body Works stuff) and took them to see the Twilight movie. Yes, it was an act of love. What I can't wait for, is The Hobit. Yup, just outed myself.0 -
I have not posted much on the single peeps boards but have been reading a lot from you all. Lets just say I have been pretty entertained today for my Monday. I needed this today. My weekend was awesome. I had my little girl this weekend and we just spent most of the weekend watching movies and being lazy it was nice!0

Hell yeah! One of my rewards for a certain weight is I'm going to buy one of those awesome Star Trek dresses I see at SDCC every year and wear the *kitten* out of it! OH, and the TMNT ones too, I want a Donnie one0 -
Concert on Saturday night = quiet night in on Friday, in preparation, and exhausted night in on Sunday, in recuperation!
Oh, the deeply-unglamorous life of the young professional singer! Met some nice people on the train back, though. One very drunk chap, his girlfriend, and their single friend, who is also a musician. The drunk one was trying pretty hard to create a hook-up between his friend and I, which was simultaneously sweet and embarrassing for everyone who wasn't drunk
This weekend is more of the same - travel two hours after work on Friday, sing concert, collapse in heap, travel to next venue, sing second concert, drive back to London, try to stay awake until a decent hour on Sunday night. Can't complain too much, though - theatre tomorrow, Committee dinner at the Savoy on Thursday, and the opera mid-next week It's just the reversal of weekends and weeknights that often happens around this time of year.0
