I think this will only apply to those of us on MDI.....
How do you space your meals? And do you have snack between them? If you do, do you take another shot with your snack? How do you work that.....

During the work week I usually eat three meals and a snack in the afternoon - before I eat anything, I just make sure I know the carb count and take whatever sliding scale of Novolog fits.0

I take my insulin on a sliding scale too....
Maybe I didn't word that right....
It is my understanding that shots should be at least four hours apart....so if you were going to eat lunch at say noon, but have a snack at 2 or 3, do you take the insulin for that snack at your noon meal? Or again even just two hours later when you are having said snack?0 -

How far apart your shots should be depends on the insulin you are using, because if the insulin is still peaking when you test you may take too much.
Your endo should be able to work with you to determine how much to take if you decide to eat a snack prior to the insulin peaking.0 -
Ohhh, you mean like insulin "stacking?" If so, to be honest, I've never paid toooo much attention to that, though it could be responsible for otherwise unexplainable lows...0
