Oh, and on the bath stuff, unless it's something you can't or don't plan to use, hang onto it! You really can never have enough baby wash, lotion, etc. You can keep it for subsequent babies, if you have any, and you can also use it on yourself! I still love the smell of Johnson's baby wash in my son's hair. I have a nice little stash in our linen/toiletry closet that should keep me well-stocked for the next year or so (my son is almost 2).

ETA that someone may give you a product you love that will be discontinued in the future, so it's good to hang onto the extras you get. My SIL gave me a half-full bottled of Johnson's creamy baby oil (in the big white bottle with the pink top, not the one that's a tube that stands on its head) when she was ditching her baby stuff. (It wasn't a gift, just a "my kids are too old for this baby stuff, do you want it" kind of thing). I used it on both myself and my son, so I ran out quickly and expected to find it easily on Amazon or in any drugstore. I soon found out that it had been discontinued, and J&J has no plans to bring it back :frown: You'd think it's such a basic product that Johnson's would continue making it, but nope, they had to go all trendy and re-market it with different scents instead.
  • Johnsons also used to make this simple 'lavender' baby lotion (white bottle/purple cap) I adored and now its rebranded as 'sleep' or 'bedtime' scent and not the same at all. Boo!
