Anyone else see photos of yourself from Thanksgiving and get some extra motivation?? My brother took some pics and posted on facebook and I thanked him for helping motivate me to work harder to get this last 25 pounds off! He did say I look great tho which was nice : )

I didn't see pictures of myself, but I braved the public pool to help supervise the kids at my granddaughter's birthday party 2 days after Thanksgiving. I saw myself in the window reflection (indoor pool) and did a double-take. I didn't look half-bad if I say so myself. That was a great motivator.
I also saw a rear-view picture of myself from summer 2011 -- I didn't realize how big my rear had become. Another motivator for me, because I don't look like that anymore.
Christmas and New Year's don't scare me anymore. Bring it on! I can handle it.0 -
I recently looked through some pictures of myself from this summer. I'd already been on MFP for a few months and thought I was looking pretty good in July. But when I saw those pictures, I realized I still had work to do. I'm down from then and feel like I'm at a good weight, but I wonder what I'll think 6 months from now when I see Christmas pictures.0

I saw a pic of myself that I took at a banquet last year and at the time I thought, "girl you lookin good". Well in comparison to THEN and NOW I'm like, "OMG, why didn't someone tell me how "puffy" I looked!" I'm really thankful to MFP --I'm never to return to THAT ever again0

Last Christmas I made sure there were no pictures of me. I was feeling pretty uncomfortable with how I looked. But this year I am looking forward to taking family pictures. And in January I am really looking forward to posting pictures of my first year with Mfp! When the kids were growing up we would take them to see Santa and get a family picture. Putting those together is proof of a dramatic yo yo syndrome the heaviest years I would not be in the pictures. But with Mfp, I no longer feel that it's inevitable that I will fall off a diet because I am not on one, just living healthy for the rest of my life!0

Last Christmas, my son was videoing the dog biting her own leg and I was in the video several times. Wow!!! What a cow! Today, 62 pounds later, we went to cut down our Christmas tree. My daughter in law posted pictures on Facebook. OMG! I had to stand in front because my sons are 6' 5" and 6' 7" and 5' 10". But I was surprised! I looked pretty good in my blue jeans and a t-shirt! Happy happy happy!!:happy:0
