What shoes would you recommend?
I'm pretty loyal to New Balance or Ryka but willing to try a new brand if most people recommend them.

Just make sure what you pick has good lateral support. I actually tried doing the heisman at the shoe store with each pair. Discovered some really light weight Jordans with great lateral support. Don't know about women's shoes though. Guess that wasn't much help. hah!0

Well I've been reading lots of posts and I can't find anything consistent. People love light weighted shoes, ones with shocks in the soles, barefoot, etc. There was 1 pair of New Balance's with a few reviewers stating it was good for Insanity, TF, etc.
I'm going to be on tile with a 5/8 thick mat if that makes a difference.0 -
I agree do the moves of th video when trying them out. You can feel the difference.0

Here's a link to a youtube video of the Month 1 warm up. The heisman and 123 heisman mentioned above are about a minute or so in. I am not brand loyal, so I just got the shoes that felt the best to jump in, which happened to be Reebok.
