Sweets During the holidays

I love to bake, especially during the holidays. I just made almond sugar cookies last night! Yumm My trick to not eating all the sweets is sending them to work with my husband! lol I only keep 2-3 at home for myself and try to spread those out! What are your favorite recipes and how do you tackle the temptation? Give away? Not bake? Use no-cal sweeteners?

  • I use applesauce instead of oil.....1/3 the sugar to 2/3 splenda.....egg whites instead of eggs...I like to bake things with real food in them like pumpkin, nuts, banana, coconut, dried fruit. I use whole wheat flour instead of white. I take things to work instead of keeping them at home.

    You are right!!! Whole foods added in baking are so much healthier and tastier than any processed thing!
