I am 17 weeks now and gain 5 lbs. Me and my husband just came back from vocation and I would like to watch my diet. My due date is May 6, 2013. I hope I can keep the weight within 130 lbs. I just find this group and feel very inspire. Hopefully I can find some support to go through the 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Hi there - I am 36 weeks pregnant and have gained 19 lbs so far. I did this by exercising on and off throughout the pregnancy and logging my food so I didn't go over on calories...it hasn't been easy though. You really have to stay on top of eating healthy and then sometimes you still can't control the weight gain. I say just do the very best you can and worry about the weight after the baby comes. The most important thing is a healthy baby0

Hi and Congrats! I am pregnant with my 1st also. At 23 weeks I have gained 14 lbs. I feel pretty good about it, but there are some days when the hormones take over and I get a little down about the gain. I have continued to work out 6 days a week and log in my food intake in MFP, just so I can stay in the habit. I changed my profile setting from 'lose weight' to maintain weight. While I had to stop jogging, I have started swimming 3 days a week, treadmill/stationary bike, yoga, and pregnancy strenght training video the other days. I think without working out I would be more stressed, so I has helped in on several levels. :-) Good luck!
Also, my husband found this cool pregnancy weight calculator on line. Gives a general ideal of weight gain, but take with a grain of salt, all pregnancies are different, all women are different and all growing babies are different!
