To me, the setup seems bad... I myself wouldn't do everything in front of everyone.
This is why, when possible of course, dates should be planned beforehand to optimise your ROI (i.e. time spent with someone).

This is a difficult one. And I'm sure works both ways. You invite and date to a gala/ball/wedding/function/party so as to have an escort/company/friend. But actually, the escort doesnt know 'anyone' and you know 'everyone'!! So, inevitably there will be a lot of time spent away from your escort!
It's not and ideal 'date'!! If you are in the early stages of dating then I think it's great that you accompanied her, but I also think you should have known that the environment wouldnt be smoochy and not 'just the two of you'?
I dont think she was being horrid to you! You need to go on a proper 'one to one' date in order to have the romance you court. That's all.

But to clarify. . I've been dating this girl on and off. . It wasn't just a one time thing. . She invited me to this event, then avoided me the entire night. She was the only person I really knew, so it was pretty annoying. .
Anyway. . after the event we went to a bar with all her work friends and she continued to do this so I took off ( She elected to stay and get a ride from someone else). .
There's a lot more to this story and It was ill-advised for me to post this thread. . lol. .but hey. . like I said. . we went to the bar!
