December Goals and Challenges

Ok Friends Lets see what you can accomplish! Post your Goals for December and then as you get closer to them come back and click on "Edit" on your post and update it with your current progress. Then we can all see how great you are doing!

Most of us are striving to accomplish different intermittent goals, so don't judge or set your goals based on someone else's...set your Goals based on you! I would suggest that you not set a "weight loss" goal, as we all know that the pounds drop off at different rates so it is nearly impossible to set a goal for that; instead, how about a "number of hours working out", "number of miles", "number of burned calories", or "total deficit number" goal..these are things you definitely can control, work towards and accomplish!

I would like to finish the C25K program in the alloted amount of time by continuing to run 3x a week. (This would put completeion the week before Xmas)

Ultimate December goal - Run a full 5K.

To do this I will strive to go running 12 times this month.

I know we should not post a weightloss goal but i realy want to be 165 by the end of december that is 0.6 pound loss so i hope to see that. i know i will be eating over my calorie goal with christmas and new year so.

I realy want to get back doing workouts with a minimum of 3 times a week running and 2 times weightlifting.

    Run 5K under 40min.

I think that is it for December.

    Ow and to keep logging!
  • My goal for December:

I am going for 20 Hours (1,200 Minutes) of exercise. After Novembers successful goal of 50 Miles I realized I don't spend that much time exercising, in fact altogether to walk 50 miles I spent a little over 16 1/2 hours walking; so I am aiming to increase that by about 25% and that is how I came up with my December goal of 20 hours.

It will be tough for me because I am going up north (Michigan) starting on the 23rd and won't be back home until Jan 6th, so what I don't get done in the fabulous Sunshine State I will have to get done in the frozen tundra, Now there's some motivation to get it accomplished before December 23rd!

    Here we Go...

    12/1/12
Exercised for 25 minutes, still have 1175 to go in 30 Days!
