I had a slip up today. i purged.

I purged.. wrecking a regurgitation-free year and a half.

I feel like a failure for allowing it to happen.
I feel like a freak for liking it.
I miss it. I don't want to do this anymore.
I can't tell anyone. My sister would be so upset with me.. &honestly i just don't have time for therapy.

Thanks for letting me get it all out her, MFP. I know you all get it better than anyone i know in real life.

    That year and half IS STILL THERE though. YOU KNOW you can do without.
    We all slip up. That's just life for ya. Don't let it keep you down though. Gotta get back up and show it who's boss! <3

    Agree with above poster,
    you still have that year and a half and that is a long time to remain purge free! When you fall off the horse, you get back on =)
    See it as a competition, beat your record- we all know you can do it =)

    Even if you are on recovery, you have an ED. It's not going to stop by itself.
    Give yourself some rest.
    And, no, you're absolutely not a failure. You've gone a more than a year without purging, you're a winner.
