Anyone try this to get labor going?

Haven't tried it yet but a couple of my friends who have recently had babies used it! I don't know if it worked to kick start labor but is supposed to soften the cervix which of course helps!

I used it and wouldn't say it kick started labor, but I definitely was softened to 90% before even starting labor. I absolutely recommend it.

SO I have a question. Do you use the capsules or the oil? And is it better to take the capsules by mouth or use them like a suppository but in your va-jayjay? LOL I am not ready yet to try this stuff out, but I will be in a month and just trying to get some information ahead of time. LOL

I used the capsules, both by mouth and up in 'there'. Different sources recommend different things, usually around 2500mg a day. I was one by mouth in the morning, one up there at night. Some recommend puncturing the capsule before putting it in, others say use the oil (from a capsule or just the straight up oil) as lubricant during sex. Whatever works best for you. Some say talk to your doctor, but its usually safe once you're full term, to be safe, you might wait until 39 weeks. I found it to be extremely effective, but it easily could have been something else too. It won't put you into labor; almost nothing will unless your body is ready to go anyways. I also drank red raspberry leaf tea. Super easy labor, except for stuck shoulders, but again, I'm not sure why.

lol. I couldn't think of another way to put it. HAHA. I thought it sounded funny too but hey, we all understand. There is no room for privacy when it comes to being pregnant. You have to expose EVERYTHING. haha

Nah, I just said "hoo-ha" in what was meant to be in a sarcastic tone on another thread. With regard to shaving it when you can't see it. So yeah, we're pretty much past TMI in here!
