My name is Kiley. I had my baby boy November 25th. I counted calories and ate OK, but not great, and kept up exercise regularly until the very end. I ended up gaining around 60lbs!!! 9 days PP I have lost 33lbs, but of course have a lot more to go. I am just looking for support from other new moms. I am hoping to lose a few more "easy" pounds and have around 20 to lose, which is what I did before and know I can do it again. I am hoping to start walking some next week, and do Turbo Fire/CLX hybrid after I get cleared in January. BTW, I had a c-section and am just now starting to be able to move without too much pain. Looking forward to chatting with you ladies!

I saw on the news feed that you joined here, so I am too! I need the help... I gained approximately 50 lbs while pregnant, and now 3 weeks pp, I am down 23 lbs. I've been cleared to exercise for a week, but I haven't had much time to do anything! I am planning on working out with my kettlebells, and I've signed up for the Dirty Girl Mud Run in July. I am determined to lose this weight so that I can be a good role model for my daughter!
You've lost quite a bit in only 9 days! I was hoping mine would have been a little more, but I haven't been good about logging yet. Right now, it's hard to eat "real" meals on the little one's schedule! Are you breastfeeding at all? My daughter has been very gassy lately, and I think my next step is to cut out dairy.0 -
Yes, I'm pretty much just breastfeeding. It started out slow due to my complications during surgery, but now pretty much just breast milk, although I have been pumping too. I find that pumping at night is much easier and I get more sleep! And he has no problem going back and forth...little man just likes to eat. My guy was gassy yesterday too and I'm not sure what caused it. I've heard that dairy does affect some babies, so I haven't had a lot, but I'm not sure what. It's hard to tell!0

I gained 30 in my pregnancy (of which I was proud), and lost 20 pretty quickly...now I've been stuck at +10 lbs for the past 2 weeks and am feeling discouarged. At my 6 week appointment on Tuesday they told me I was doing great...just wondering why I'm not seeing a change. Wondering if I should eat MORE calories than I am...and also trying to start working out again- it's rought with 2 little ones and now going back to work part-time. Makes things interesting!
My little girl has been pretty gassy too- WAY more gassy than my first daughter. So I've started limiting my dairy at least, and supplementing with a calcium pill. I plan to ask the pediatrician about it at her 2 month appointment, but I thought it was something I could do to help. I have noticed a minor improvement, but I'm going to wait a full week before I decide whether to continue or not. It's hard though- I love my glass of milk every morning!0
