Apps?

I remember that before I had my son, my sister told me about the Contraction Master app. At the time it was only available on iPhone (I had a Droid, still do), but now it's available for Droid phones. It's free, too!

They also have a nursing app.

Do any of you have any apps that you have used or plan on using? Anything pregnancy/baby-related, too, not just contraction timing or breastfeeding-related.

Edited to add that I found a different contraction timing app, since the one I mentioned was not available for my phone yet. I timed most of my contractions until shortly after I was admitted and they got unbearable. I must have forgotten to turn it off because the last timed contraction was about 12 hours long

I have three I use on my (android) tablet, and in order of personal preference, they are:

Baby Bump by Alt12 (have the free version - but LOVE the forum capabilities. Most of the forums have a bunch of idiots, lotsa teen moms, and dummies who want to be induced because they're "tired of being pregnant at 35 weeks" etc.... but the by-invitation-forums I've found to be darned good, I particularly love the forums on natural childbirth, cloth diapering, breasfeeding, and unmedicated birth (or something like that, not sure of the exact names and don't have them in front of me), and there are some very knowledgeable, down-to-earth mommies in there. Love reading birth stories too!

Happy Pregnancy (has a great kick counter and contraction counter, both of which are included in the free version of the app... mostly all I use this app for)

I'm Expecting - decent app, has a good calendar and place to input dr visit info.

I hadn't thought of a Nursing app - now THAT I'm going to have to look into!!

My hubby has Baby Center, but I can't get it to work on my tablet... :grumble:
