Got an email from the Spartan people ...

I wrote them asking if they ever consider opening up more heats since the event sold out so quickly...

they said no, go **** yourself .

Ok they didn't say go **** yourself but they did say to show up on race day ready to roll and I should be able to regisiter then ,
since they always have cancellations .

I'm a little more hopeful now that I will actually be racing :)

    I'm sure it will cost me $110 to register the day of , even though they don't refund any money for cancelling , but I have from now til then to get it together .

    I will definitely be there , either racing or cheering all of you on :)

    Don't forget they charge entrance for spectators.

    Yea you're right. I wonder if you can just show up and be a spectator or if you have to register ahead of time.

    I'm pretty sure you can just show up but they'll charge you more. Like they always do. :angry: :grumble:
