What is happening with everyone? The group numbers are falling and there is anything up to/over a week between posts on the message boards?
Are we all really that over it?

That's a good idea!
Also because it's Christmas and New Year approaching, it might be hard for some people to keep under their goals so one challenge could be to not gain anything this month???0 -
That's a positive. So shall we start a thread for sharing holiday menus????0

Excellent challenge! I would be totally happy with not gaining anything over the holidays!!!0 -
Totally my fault on me not responding.... I traveled half way around the world from Kuwait to Hawaii, had to find a home, pick up my Chemi, arrange shipment of my household goods, finish my master's thesis, and am STILL unpacking. I have not even got a Christmas tree up yet.... so I guess I am also Miss. Bah Hum Bug this year too. I have been totally overcome by events.
Oh, and the best news yet - before I was here a week I already have moving order to change my duty location to Washington, DC. I have to go to school in Ft. Polk, Louisianna for 2 months Feb-April; and then go to DC from there - so I am unpacking just so that I can pack it all back up again next month. I have to report in the Ft. Polk by Feb 1.
I really need to take a vacation, but it doesn't look like I'm going to get one. I just finished a 9 month deployment - and the icing on the cake; I will be deploying to Afghanistan in June for a year.
So, my apologies to the group, those are my pathetic reasons for not keeping up, but I have been maintaining my goals - and I love the way you guys keep me on track. I also love theideas you have here with regards to the maintain plan; and hmm... I'll have to find some recipies. The one I know is a family secret which I will pass to my son or daughter when I have one.0 -

Sounds like you've been busy! Thanks for returning to us!
Happy maintaining!!0 -
I've been keeping up with my training, although I've had a few hiccups. The biggest of which is that I can't keep to a specific schedule because my neurological issues have gotten a bit worse over the past few months, so I can no longer commit to doing X workout on X day because what types of physical activity I can safely perform (if any at all) can vary from day to day based on how severe it is.0

Damn. Good luck with everything. I'm sure that with your commitment you can still persevere and reach your goal!0 -
I fell off the wagon so hard I broke all my limbs and now have to eat out of a straw. Trying to get back on track and it seems to me like the more time I spend on here the more I stay on track! Seems kinda illogical?? The more I sit on the computer? The more I lose?? Well it works for me and I'm gonna be back!0

Ha ha!! I totally lost the challenge and pigged out on everything (especially seafood) that I could not get while deployed; but I'm back on track (and I can not report to school over weight either) to hopefully blast through 140!! 5 more lbs to go!!0 -
