This may have been asked before but why did they close down the actie2 sports online site? Sorry it's been awhile since i have done this game. Just curious as to why they shut it down.

    As I understand the whole situation (and please anybody can chime in if they have a better answer)... I believe and unfortunately it was shutdown because of slow sales and only a very small percentage of people were using it as compared with some of the other more popular games from EA. So for EA it was a money and business thing. Now if you talk to those who have actually used the program, like all of us here in this group and other groups similar on SparkPeople and other sites, I know we feel that it should still be up and running and also the forum site as well. I was kinda sad when I received that final email from EA stating that they were shutting down the forums :(. Personally I have been using the program consistently for 69 weeks in a row (WooHoo) and have benefited loads. I am hoping... (crossing all my fingers and toes)... (but probably not going to hold my breath)... that they make one for the Wii U. We shall see.
