LV Lifting Victory?

Do we have something like an NSV for lifting? Anyway, I am now squatting easily more than I can get off my neck safely (70lb) So I need a power rack!! That is great because I am getting stronger but not so great because I can't afford a power rack at the moment. Maybe there will be sales at the end of the year? I guess another good thing is that my other lifts will have time to catch up. Has anyone found a solution to the lack of power rack problem?

you can set up something like a squat rack using saw horses or even chairs. That should get you by for a while. You can also BUILD one out of wood (I've seen it) if you're handy.

Sometimes you can find a squat rack or power rack on Craiglist or similar in your area. Also for BlackFriday a few sites had 20-25% off of them but that's past now - I imagine its something they might do again. This is a quality company should you ever have the money.

loooove this one because it has more holes drilled. 3 inch spacing tends to mean I'm either squatting part way to get the bar up, or doing a calf raise to get it up. But, obviously this costs more. But this is what I'd buy if I had the money.

I got all my weight lifting stuff on Craig's List. I missed a few listings and some were overpriced, but I kept watching and finally found everything I needed. I now have a nicer set up than the gym I used to belong to!
