Blocked Tube - Anyone Have Luck Getting Pregnant?

This has been a very sad issue for me. I only have one fallopian tube and ovary (lost the other side to PCOS issues) and it is blocked. My doctor said there is very little chance of getting pregnant on my own. However, my insurance won't cover IVF until after I've paid so many out of pocket. Needless to say, it's left me hopeless due to the cost.
Has anyone ever has a problem like this, and overcome it? I'm just wondering if there is a way to help with the blockage.
