Hi there,
I'm pleased to join this group and wanted to say hi.
From May-oct, I did NROLFW. Then moved onto NROL fat loss I program, then a 3-week break in Europe (heavenly chocolate and cheese).
Now, I need to eat at more of a deficit, as May-Nov did not net me much in the way of BF% lost. I'm doing SL because a lower volume, higher weight program was recommended by Lyle McDonald when in a cut, so one doesn't go insane.
Have any of you done SL in a deficit, and how did that go for you energy wise, etc? I understand my strength gains will be reduced. I'm at 34% BF, so I definitely need to focus on getting that down while also not burning myself out.
Thanks for reading!

I was doing SL in a deficit until I broke my wrist a week ago. I had done only 19 sessions whilst following a 20% cut from TDEE and had lost about 5% BF so I will definitely be continuing with it once I can.
Good luck with SL0 -
Thanks! I'm doing the same cut reduction you were doing. Sounds like you made great progress. I'm sorry about your wrist
what a bummer. What will you do now?
